ROX Teams

Coach Torres and his team of dedicated and knowledgeable assistant coaches develop players from 9U-18U and participate in the Select League, an elite New England travel league. Coach Torres believes that the baseball season is never over, and that each day is an opportunity to improve your game. For that reason, Coach Torres places a significant emphasis on off-season training and individual instruction. Each summer, we hold tryouts for our Rox teams.

Our team training begins in the fall, with a strength and conditioning program and potential fall college prospect tournaments for our older teams. In December, we transition into our off-season team practices, which consists of two (2) two hour practices each week. Once the season starts, the learning does not stop at South Shore Baseball Academy, with a weekday team practice continuing throughout the baseball season.  Our games are primarily scheduled on weekends, with double-header games played on Saturdays and/or Sundays.  The season for our younger teams runs from early April through mid-June.  Our high school-level teams play in the summer, starting after the high school season ends.  The Rox teams play their home games at Militia Park in Easton and Massasoit Community College in Brockton.

The Rox teams also participate in various invitational tournaments throughout the year, including college showcase tournaments for our older teams.
